Hey, we are Josefine and Kai - the faces behind Schweden-Ferienhaus24.de! Our story begins in 2020, when we left Germany behind to explore the world with our two children and a motorhome. We had actually only planned a year - parental leave, freedom, adventure. But we quickly realised: Back to Germany? That no longer felt right. We were particularly fond of Sweden. For six months, we travelled through the land of red wooden houses, untouched lakes and endless forests. We had fallen in love with Sweden - but we didn't want to arrive yet. So we travelled on, and one year turned into almost four. We discovered countless places and cultures, but at some point it became clear: our journey would find its home here, in Sweden. In November 2023, we fulfilled our dream and bought a house in Småland. It was the perfect decision for us and our children - Sweden offers everything we want for a fulfilling life. But anyone who knows us knows that we love challenges. In April 2024, we founded our first company in Sweden: Holidayhomecare Småland. Within a few months, we had already managed over 50 holiday homes - a journey that we approach with passion and a lot of heart and soul.
In November 2024, we turned our next vision into reality: Schweden-Ferienhaus24, our own booking platform for holiday homes. With our experience as freelancers, designers and marketing specialists, we want to bring a piece of Sweden closer not only to our guests, but also to the owners of the holiday homes - with expertise, creativity and a great sense of hospitality. We are very much looking forward to travelling this journey with you - as guests, hosts or simply as part of the big Sweden family!

Emigration to Sweden
After travelling the world for four years, we decided to settle down in Sweden in 2023. The nature, the peace and quiet and life in the Swedish idyll convinced us to start a new chapter in our lives here.
Foundation of Holidayhomecare
In May 2024, we launched Holidayhomecare to support holiday home owners in Sweden with a comprehensive all-round service. From administration to guest care - we take care of everything.
Go Live Sweden-Ferienhaus24
In October 2024, we decided to develop our own platform for the holiday homes we manage. Schweden-Ferienhaus24 was born and has been the central place for booking fantastic holiday homes in Sweden ever since.
20 houses on our platform
In November 2024, we reached our first major goal: 20 holiday homes on our platform. A milestone that shows us that we are on the right track to offer both guests and landlords the best possible service.

V-Offcie
At the end of November, we went online with the support of our partner V-Office - an all-in-one solution for holiday home rentals. The specially developed app offers owners, guests and employees transparency, simplifies processes and increases the occupancy rate of holiday homes.

In December 2024, we completely redesigned our website and simplified the booking process for our guests.
50 houses on our platform
In March 2025, we reached the next significant milestone: 50 holiday homes are now available on our platform. This progress encourages us to continue our journey with enthusiasm.
