Welcome to Hus Skärgården - a true Swedish dream in Figeholm, located between Oskarshamn and Västervik, right by the Baltic Sea in the picturesque archipelago. This charming holiday home offers the perfect combination of seclusion, tranquillity and modern comfort for an unforgettable holiday in Småland.

The house

The main house was completely refurbished in 2025 and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. Two bedrooms with new beds and mattresses can accommodate a total of four guests. An additional stuga on the property accommodates two more people - ideal for friends or larger families. Please note that the stuga does not currently have its own bathroom.

Hus Skärgården is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy fireplace that can heat the entire house and a modern air heat pump. Starlink internet access ensures a reliable and fast connection, while a TV is available for entertainment on quieter evenings.

The situation

Hus Skärgården has a unique location: it is secluded and incredibly quiet in the middle of the archipelago. Here you can enjoy unspoilt nature and unwind. The location directly on the Baltic Sea invites you to explore the diverse archipelago landscape, whether by motorboat, which is included in the hire price, or with the SUP board provided.

The surroundings

The region around Figeholm is a paradise for nature lovers and explorers. A short excursion takes you to Västervik, which is considered the pearl of the Baltic Sea coast. This is one of Sweden's most beautiful archipelagos with over 5000 islands. Visit the car-free islands of Hasselö and Idö or the remote Norra Uvö peninsula - each destination is an experience in itself.

Oskarshamn is also just a short drive away for cultural highlights and shopping opportunities. The region also offers numerous hiking and cycling trails, idyllic cafés and other activities for every taste.

Important notes

A deposit of 2300 SEK / 200 Euro is due before arrival.
An additional deposit of 3000SEK / 250 Euro is charged for the use of the motorboat.

The price per night is valid for 4 persons. For each additional person there is a surcharge of 20 euros per person per night.

The motorboat is only available from April to October. In the winter months from mid-October to mid-April, the archipelago can freeze over, which is why the boats have to be taken out of the water. We ask for your understanding that it is not possible to use the boat during this time.
