The house is simple, cozy and functional, making it perfect for guests who value nature, relaxation and an authentic living experience. The living area features a fireplace that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, ideal for quiet evenings after a day outdoors. A TV without regular channels, but with a DVD player and a small DVD collection, as well as a variety of board games, are available for entertainment.

One of the defining features of the house is its open layout. Hus Idås offers three sleeping areas, but without doors between them. This creates an open and shared living experience, particularly suitable for families or couples who enjoy spending time together.

Upstairs, there are two sleeping areas. One features a double bed (180×200 cm) with direct access to a balcony offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The second sleeping area also includes a double bed (180×200 cm) and an additional loft bed, ideal for children. A small bathroom with sink and toilet is also located upstairs. The third sleeping area is on the ground floor, along with a spacious bathroom with shower.

The location in the forest makes this holiday home a perfect starting point for walks, hikes and nature experiences directly from the doorstep. Here you can enjoy the silence, observe wildlife or simply relax.

The surrounding area offers many beautiful lakes with small natural bathing spots, perfect for swimming, relaxing or fishing. The Baltic Sea with its archipelago and beaches can be reached in about 45 minutes. Popular destinations such as Vimmerby, home of Astrid Lindgren, and the coastal town of Kalmar are both about an hour away.

A highlight for families is the nearby Astrid Lindgren’s World in Vimmerby, one of Sweden’s most popular attractions. Children can explore the world of Pippi Longstocking, Emil of Lönneberga and other beloved characters. Many original filming locations and story settings can also be found in the region, making this an ideal choice for families looking for a holiday home near Astrid Lindgren’s World.

Hus Idås is perfect for those who are not looking for a typical holiday resort, but rather a true nature retreat. The large garden offers plenty of space to relax and for children to play and explore.

Final cleaning is included. Bed linen and towels can be booked optionally. A deposit of €200 is required. Electricity is included during the high season; from September to May it is charged at €0.35 per kWh based on consumption. Please note that pets are not allowed.
