Inside, the typical character of a log cabin meets a cosy and stylish interior. The heart of the house is the massive stone fireplace, which creates a warm atmosphere and authentic Swedish holiday-home feeling, especially on cooler days.

Large windows let plenty of daylight into the house and open up views of the surrounding nature. The living and dining area provides enough space for shared meals and relaxing evenings.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and provides everything needed for a comfortable stay.

There are 3 separate bedrooms in total, offering sufficient privacy for up to five guests.

A washing machine is also available, making the log cabin practical for longer stays.

A particular highlight awaits you outside. The covered terrace is equipped with seating, a gas barbecue and an outdoor kitchen. A fire pit invites you to end the day together outdoors.

Above the terrace, there is also a small gallery offering an additional retreat – especially nice for reading, relaxing or for children.

Only a few steps from the house is the private jetty by the lake. Here you can go directly into the water, relax by the shore or simply enjoy the peace and nature.

A rowing boat is available free of charge. This allows you to explore the lake independently and experience the landscape of Värmland from the water.

After a day by the lake or a hike, the private sauna awaits you. Especially on cooler evenings, it is a lovely way to end the day in a relaxed atmosphere.

The area around Skillingsfors is characterised by forests, lakes and plenty of unspoilt nature. It is ideal for hiking, cycling, paddling and peaceful days outdoors.

A particularly attractive excursion destination is the nearby Glaskogen Nature Reserve. There you will find numerous hiking trails, lakes and varied nature experiences.

The towns of Arvika and Karlstad are also within easy reach for a day trip. If you are planning a longer excursion, you can also spend a day in Oslo.

Blockhütte Ratzeputz is a non-smoking holiday home. Dogs are welcome on request.
