Originally built in 1938, the house is spread over two floors and accommodates up to 6 guests. It is particularly suitable for families or friends travelling together.

There are 3 separate bedrooms in total. Two bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed measuring 180 × 200 cm. The third bedroom features a bed measuring 140 × 200 cm as well as an additional cot.

One bedroom even has its own private bathroom with a bathtub. In total, there are 2 bathrooms – one with a shower and one with a bathtub.

The cosy living and dining area provides plenty of space for spending your holiday together. Here you can relax after a day trip, enjoy meals together or spend the evening in a comfortable atmosphere.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a dishwasher, cooker, oven, large refrigerator and a kitchen island with two bar stools.

The house is also well suited for longer stays. A washing machine is located in the basement.

Several heating options provide comfortable temperatures throughout the year. A pellet stove, wood-burning stove and electric radiators ensure that the house stays cosy even during the cooler months. Pellets are already included.

Wi-Fi is also available.

A particular advantage is the 3 bicycles, which can be used free of charge during your stay. They are a convenient way to explore Järnforsen and the surrounding area.

The holiday home is located beside a road. Thanks to new windows, however, traffic noise is significantly reduced inside the house.

Hiking trails, nature paths and cross-country skiing tracks in winter begin directly behind the house. This means that many activities can be started straight from the accommodation.

There are also several lakes in the surrounding area for swimming and fishing. During winter, the region also offers opportunities for active holidays, including illuminated ski slopes nearby.

The location is particularly interesting for families and fans of Astrid Lindgren. Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren’s World can be reached in approximately 40 minutes.

Lönneberga, known from the stories of Emil of Lönneberga, is also within easy reach and makes an interesting destination for a day trip.

If you would like to spend a day by the Baltic Sea, Oskarshamn can be reached in approximately 45 minutes.

Other attractions in the region include opportunities for gold panning, a mine and numerous hiking and cycling routes around Järnforsen.

Ferienhaus beim Michel is a non-smoking holiday home. Pets are not permitted, making the house also well suited for guests with allergies.

Electricity consumption is already included. Final cleaning is included and bed linen and towel packages can be booked optionally.

A refundable security deposit of €200 is required for the stay.
