Large panoramic windows in the open living and dining area bring nature directly inside and create a warm and cosy atmosphere together with the fireplace. Whether enjoying breakfast overlooking the water or spending long evenings with family and friends, the unique lakeside setting is always at the centre of the experience.

The main house accommodates up to nine guests and is ideal for larger families or groups of friends.

The main house offers three bedrooms:

-Bedroom 1: Double bed for 2 guests
-Bedroom 2: One single bed and two bunk beds for up to 5 guests
-Bedroom 3: Double bed for 2 guests

Next to the main house there is also a separate stuga, which can be used during the summer months. The stuga offers two floor mattresses for two additional guests. It also includes a small kitchen and a private bathroom with toilet and shower, making it a perfect additional retreat for families or larger groups.

In total, Skogshem accommodates up to eleven guests.

The high-quality kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything needed for a comfortable stay. Besides a dishwasher, oven and generous cooling facilities, guests also have access to a coffee machine, bread maker and several practical kitchen appliances. A washing machine and dryer add extra comfort during longer stays.

The absolute highlight of Skogshem is the exceptional location directly by the lake. The private dock and large lakeside terrace are only a few steps from the house. Here you can swim, fish, relax or simply enjoy the beautiful view across the water.

A rowing boat is included during your stay and invites guests to enjoy peaceful tours on the lake.

In addition, a pedal boat is also included and offers great fun for the whole family on the water.

There is also a brand-new large raft available, which can optionally be rented for 200 Euro per week. The raft is a truly unique highlight for the entire family and creates unforgettable moments on the lake. Whether sunbathing on the water, enjoying relaxed evenings together or going on small adventures with the children – this is Swedish summer at its best.

The surroundings around Vissefjärda also offer many activities and excursion possibilities. The coastal towns of Karlskrona and Kalmar are easily reachable and offer restaurants, shopping and cultural attractions. Families especially enjoy visiting the moose parks near Kosta and Nybro or spending a day at Astrid Lindgrens Värld. The island of Öland is also ideal for a day trip.

Skogshem is a non-smoking property. Dogs are not allowed. Regular electricity consumption is included. Charging electric vehicles is only possible upon prior request and will be charged separately based on consumption.

Important information regarding final cleaning:
Mandatory final cleaning is not included in the rental price and must be paid on site in Swedish Krona. Bed linen and towels are already included in the final cleaning fee.
