Stensjö Holiday Home is a small and cosy traditional Swedish cottage located in the southern Swedish region of Blekinge. The living area has recently been lovingly renovated and newly furnished, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Inside, the house features two bedrooms and a combined living and dining area with a kitchenette. One bedroom is equipped with a pull-out bed offering a sleeping surface of up to 160 by 200 centimetres. The second bedroom has a bunk bed and is well suited for children or additional guests. The living area invites guests to relax, and Wi-Fi is available. A television is provided and can be used via internet connection.

The kitchenette is functional and suitable for preparing simple meals. The house is a non-smoking property. One dog is welcome for an additional fee.

The outdoor area complements the cottage perfectly. A terrace with garden furniture is available, as well as a small charcoal grill for relaxed evenings outdoors. Around the lake, several public fire pits can be found, including some located on a nearby island that can be reached by bridge or by boat, offering a special nature experience.

Lake Stora Alljungen provides many recreational opportunities. A large bathing area with playground, separate non-swimmer section, changing rooms and toilets is available. Guests can explore the lake by kayak, SUP, rowing boat or pedal boat. A scenic walking trail runs along the shoreline, and numerous cycling routes lead through forests and lakes. Fishing enthusiasts will find good fishing opportunities, with fishing permits available at the nearby campsite. Boats and water sports equipment can also be rented there.

The region also offers attractive cultural excursions. The UNESCO World Heritage city of Karlskrona is about 30 minutes away and is located directly on the Baltic Sea, featuring a historic naval harbour and the southernmost archipelago in Sweden. The Blekinge archipelago, with around 1,650 islands, offers a unique blend of nature and culture.

Additional excursion options include Kosta Outlet, Kosta Moose Park, the Glass Kingdom, the children’s park Barnens Gård, trips to Öland, wildlife parks and Vimmerby with attractions inspired by Astrid Lindgren’s stories. Hiking in nature reserves and cycling tours through forests and coastal landscapes provide further variety.

Electricity consumption is included in the rental price. Final cleaning is included. A security deposit of 200 euros is required before arrival. Guests must bring their own bed linen and towels. There is no washing machine in the house, but laundry facilities are available at the nearby campsite.
