The cosy living area features a sofa, armchair and fireplace, which creates a particularly warm atmosphere on cooler evenings. A dining table provides plenty of space for meals together. Wi-Fi is also available throughout your stay.

The kitchen is well equipped and provides everything you need for self-catering during your holiday in Sweden.

The newly renovated bathroom features a shower and combines the traditional character of the house with modern comfort.

Plenty of Space and Privacy on the Property

Hus Bohult stands on a property of approximately 2,000 square metres with plenty of greenery and space to relax. Seating and a barbecue are available in the garden – ideal for a relaxed breakfast outdoors or long summer evenings surrounded by nature.

A second, larger holiday home is also located on the property. It can be rented together with Hus Bohult and accommodates up to six additional guests. The two houses are therefore particularly suitable for families or friends travelling together who still want to have their own separate living spaces.

An important advantage: If you book only Hus Bohult, the second holiday home will not be rented to other guests during your stay. This means you will not share the property with other holidaymakers and can enjoy your peace and privacy.

Lake, Canoe and Nature in Småland

The area around Bohult is characterised by the typical Småland landscape of forests, lakes and small villages. A nearby lake is within easy walking distance. A canoe is available for trips on the water – perfect for experiencing the surrounding nature from a different perspective and enjoying relaxing hours on the lake.

The surrounding forests are also ideal for hiking, walking and collecting berries and mushrooms. With a little luck, you may even spot deer or moose along the way.

Ideal Base between Högsby, Vimmerby and the Baltic Sea Coast

Thanks to its location near Högsby, Hus Bohult is an excellent base for discovering many different sides of Småland.

The Baltic Sea coast around Oskarshamn, with its small harbours, swimming areas and typical archipelago landscape, is within easy reach. From Oskarshamn, you can also take excursions into the surrounding archipelago and to the island of Blå Jungfrun.

Families and fans of Astrid Lindgren can take a day trip to Vimmerby. There you will find Astrid Lindgren’s World as well as numerous places connected with the stories and films of the famous Swedish children’s author.

Kalmar, with its well-known castle and historic old town, is another attractive destination for a day trip. From there, the Öland Bridge takes you directly to the island of Öland with its beaches, windmills, small farm shops and distinctive landscape.

From Hus Bohult, you can therefore discover both the traditional inland landscapes of Småland and the Baltic Sea coast as well as some of southern Sweden’s best-known excursion destinations.

Hus Bohult is a non-smoking holiday home. One dog is welcome for an additional fee. Final cleaning is already included in the rental price. A bed linen and towel package can be booked for an additional fee.

Electricity is charged according to actual consumption. A refundable security deposit of €200 is required for the stay.
