The holiday home was most recently renovated and newly furnished in 2024 and offers approximately 140 m² of living space for up to 6 guests. There are three separate bedrooms, providing plenty of space and privacy for families or friends travelling together.

The cosy living room is a pleasant place to relax after an eventful day. Especially on cooler evenings, the wood-burning stove creates a warm atmosphere and an authentic Swedish holiday-home feeling.

A special focal point of the house is the spacious kitchen. Traditional Swedish country-house style meets modern equipment here. In addition to everything needed for self-catering, a dishwasher is also available. The large dining table offers enough space for the whole family – whether for breakfast together, long evening meals or a relaxed games night.

For additional relaxation, the house has its own small sauna, which is available during your stay and already included. After a long walk or an excursion into nature, it is a lovely way to end the day.

The house has a modern bathroom as well as an additional guest toilet. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available, making Hus Brobacka practical for longer stays.

Outside, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings as well. The house has a terrace and balcony as well as various seating areas in the garden. Here you can enjoy breakfast outdoors in the morning, relax in the sun or end a peaceful holiday day surrounded by Swedish nature.

A special extra for guests who want to experience Sweden from the water is the rowing boat on a trailer that belongs to the holiday home. The boat is available for free use during your stay. Thanks to the trailer, you are flexible and can take the boat to suitable lakes and waterways in the surrounding area.

Dogs are also welcome on your holiday in Sweden: up to two pets are allowed.

The location of Hus Brobacka offers numerous possibilities for varied day trips. The region lies between the two large Swedish lakes Vänern and Vättern and is characterised by lakes, forests, small villages and plenty of nature.

One special excursion destination is the famous Göta Canal with its historic locks. Along the canal, you can enjoy beautiful cycling tours and walks or simply watch the boats passing by.

Nature lovers should plan a trip to Tiveden National Park. Ancient forests, large rock formations and numerous hiking trails make the area one of the special natural destinations in this part of Sweden.

At Lake Vänern, a visit to Läckö Castle is also worthwhile. The impressive castle is located directly by the lake. In addition to the historic castle complex, you can enjoy the surrounding landscape and views across Sweden’s largest lake.

The area around Karlsborg on Lake Vättern is another good destination for a day trip. The town is particularly known for its large fortress and its location directly by the lake.

Throughout the region, you will also find numerous swimming areas, fishing opportunities, hiking trails and smaller natural areas. With the rowing boat, you can also set off on your own excursions and explore the Swedish lake landscape from the water.

Hus Brobacka is a non-smoking holiday home. Up to two pets are welcome. Final cleaning is professionally provided and already included. Use of the sauna is also included.

A refundable security deposit of €200 is required for the stay.

Hus Brobacka combines the charm of a classic red Swedish house with plenty of space and comfortable facilities. Three bedrooms, wood-burning stove, sauna, terrace and the private rowing boat offer excellent conditions for a varied holiday.
