The historic wooden house was built in 1900 and lovingly renovated in 2022. With approximately 75 m² of living space, Hus Hällemåla accommodates up to 6 guests and is particularly suitable for families, couples or friends travelling together who are looking for plenty of peace and privacy.
The cosy living area is a lovely place to relax after a day outdoors. Especially on cooler evenings, the wood-burning stove provides pleasant warmth and creates an authentic Swedish holiday-home atmosphere. A television is also available.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and provides everything needed to cook and enjoy meals together during your holiday.
The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower and combines the traditional character of the house with contemporary comfort.
The special highlight of Hus Hällemåla, however, is its location. The nature of Småland begins directly around the holiday home. No direct neighbours and no road noise – instead, you can enjoy forests, birdsong and plenty of tranquillity.
Directly from the house, you can set off on walks and hikes through the surrounding forests. Depending on the season, you can also pick berries and mushrooms. With a little luck, you may spot deer, moose or other wildlife in the surrounding area.
Only a few minutes from the holiday home, there is an idyllic swimming lake with a rowing boat and raft. Here you can swim, enjoy a small boat trip or simply spend a peaceful summer day by the water.
Please note that fishing is not permitted at this lake. However, there is another lake nearby where fishing opportunities are available.
The area around Mörlunda is also interesting for day trips. Families in particular can visit Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren’s World, where Pippi Longstocking, Emil of Lönneberga and many other well-known characters come to life.
Nature lovers can visit Norra Kvill National Park. Ancient forests, large boulders and beautiful hiking trails make the area a special natural destination in Småland.
The well-known Kvilleken, one of Sweden’s oldest and most impressive oak trees, is also located nearby.
If you would like to spend a day by the Baltic Sea, you can take a trip to Oskarshamn. The villages and towns around Mörlunda and Hultsfred are also suitable for smaller excursions and discovery tours through Småland.
Hus Hällemåla is a non-smoking holiday home. Pets are not permitted. Bed linen and towels are not provided and must be brought by guests.
