The cosy living area with sofa and seating corner invites you to relax after a day outdoors. Especially on cooler days, the wood-burning stove creates a pleasant atmosphere and an authentic Swedish holiday-home feeling. The house is also heated by a heat pump.

For entertainment, Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, books and board games are available. A desk also provides a quiet place for working or writing if required.

The separate kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and includes a ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and blender. A separate dining area provides space for shared meals.

The bathroom features a bathtub with shower option, toilet and washbasin. A hairdryer is also available.

A washing machine is provided for longer stays.

Hus Mio is set on a property of approximately 1,900 m² with a garden and plenty of space around the house. Garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue invite you to spend long Swedish summer evenings outdoors.

A terrace, covered outdoor area and balcony are also available, allowing you to choose between different places around the house depending on the time of day.

Children are very welcome at Hus Mio. At the same time, the peaceful setting offers plenty of space for spending time together in nature.

A lake is located in the surrounding area and offers opportunities for swimming, walking and relaxing by the water. Forests, small roads and paths around the house create the typical landscape of Småland.

A particular advantage is the proximity to Vimmerby, which is approximately 35 kilometres away. There you will find Astrid Lindgren’s World, one of southern Sweden’s most popular family attractions. You can spend the day experiencing Pippi Longstocking, Emil of Lönneberga and many other well-known characters before returning to the peace of Hus Mio.

The area around Virserum also offers various excursion destinations and opportunities to discover the nature and traditional craftsmanship of Småland.

For a longer day trip, Västervik on the Baltic Sea coast is another good option. The famous Kingdom of Crystal with its traditional glassworks can also easily be combined with a stay at Hus Mio.

Hus Mio is a non-smoking holiday home. Dogs and other pets are not permitted.

Final cleaning is already included, and electricity consumption is also included in the rental price. Bed linen and towel packages can be booked optionally.

A refundable security deposit of €200 is required for the stay.
