The property consists of a main house and a separate stuga and offers space for up to eight guests in total. The approximately 80 m² main house has two separate bedrooms for four guests. The first bedroom has a double bed measuring 180 x 200 cm, while the second has a double bed measuring 160 x 200 cm.

A further four sleeping spaces are available in the separate stuga. It has a double bed measuring 180 x 200 cm as well as a bunk bed. Please note that the stuga does not have its own toilet or bathroom. However, there is a washbasin with hot water. The bathroom with shower and toilet is located in the main house.

The cosy living area in the main house is a comfortable place to relax after a day outdoors. A wood-burning stove creates a warm atmosphere, especially on cooler evenings. A television with German channels and a DVD player are also available. Internet can be booked for an additional fee.

The open-plan kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and offers enough space to prepare meals together.

The bathroom in the main house has a shower and toilet. A washing machine is also available. A high chair is provided for families with small children.

The outdoor area is one of the highlights of Hus Nysockensjön. The property covers around 3,000 m² and offers plenty of greenery as well as views towards the lake. The covered terrace is a lovely place to sit outside even in changeable weather and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There is also a barbecue area for relaxed evenings outdoors, as well as an outdoor shower.

Lake Nysockensjön is only around 100 metres away. A jetty and bathing rock are available by the water, making it easy to swim and relax close to the house. A rowing boat is included with the accommodation and a canoe can also be used during your stay. A motor for the rowing boat can be booked for an additional fee.

Guests are also welcome to bring their own boat and use the existing jetty.

Lake Nysockensjön is also an attractive fishing area. Local fishing regulations apply and a fishing permit, known as a Fiskekort, is required.

After a day on the water or exploring the surrounding nature, you can relax in the sauna. Together with the peaceful lakeside setting, bathing rock and outdoor shower, it is one of the special features of the property.

The area around Arvika offers plenty of opportunities for active days outdoors. The region is characterised by numerous lakes and is ideal for swimming, fishing, paddling and hiking.

Glaskogen Nature Reserve is a particularly beautiful destination for a day trip. The large protected area offers numerous lakes and an extensive network of hiking trails. Here you can hike, canoe, fish or simply enjoy the wide open nature of Värmland.

Arvika itself is also worth a visit. The town is known for art, handicrafts and its cultural scene. The Rackstad Museum and Klässbols Linneväveri are popular attractions in the region.

Thanks to its location in western Värmland, the house is also convenient for guests travelling via Norway. Oslo Gardermoen Airport is around two hours away by car and provides another practical option for arrival and departure.

One dog is welcome for an additional fee. Guests need to bring their own bed linen and towels. Final cleaning is taken care of. Electricity is charged according to actual consumption. A security deposit of €250 is required for the stay.

During the high season, arrival and departure are only possible on Saturdays. In the low season, other arrival and departure days as well as more flexible lengths of stay are possible.

The final approximately 2.5 kilometres of the journey to the house are along a gravel road. This route is part of the secluded location and should be driven at a relaxed pace.
