Welcome to Peaceful Getaway, a cosy holiday home in the small village of Åsljunga in Skåne, southern Sweden. The holiday home offers approximately 94 m² of living space and accommodates up to 4 guests in the main house. During the summer months, an additional small guest cottage on the property can also be used, increasing the total capacity to up to 7 guests.
The main house has two separate bedrooms with a total of four sleeping places. The additional guest cottage provides sleeping space for another three guests. As the cottage is not heated, it is only available during the warmer months of the year.
After a day exploring the surrounding countryside, the comfortable living area is a lovely place to relax. On cooler evenings, the fireplace creates a warm and cosy atmosphere and adds to the traditional Swedish holiday-home feeling. A television and Wi-Fi are also available.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available, making the house particularly practical for longer stays.
In front of the house, you will find a terrace with outdoor seating and a barbecue. Enjoy breakfast outside in the morning, prepare dinner on the grill or simply spend a long Scandinavian summer evening surrounded by the peaceful countryside.
Two lakes are located approximately 2–3 kilometres from the holiday home. One of them has a swimming area with a diving tower, while the other is situated in a recreational area with a tennis court. Both lakes provide lovely opportunities for swimming, fishing and relaxing summer days by the water.
The forests surrounding Åsljunga are ideal for exploring on foot or by bicycle. The area offers plenty of opportunities for walking, hiking and cycling. During late summer and autumn, the surrounding forests are also popular for picking mushrooms and blueberries.
The town of Örkelljunga is only around 5 kilometres away. Here you will find several supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and other shops for everyday needs.
A popular family attraction is Smålandet Markaryds Älgsafari, approximately 25 kilometres from the holiday home. Here you can see moose and bison at close range while exploring the wildlife park either in your own car or aboard the park's small train.
The Swedish west coast is also within easy reach. Around Ängelholm and Laholm, approximately 40 kilometres away, you will find long sandy beaches and plenty of opportunities to spend a relaxing day by the sea.
For a longer day trip, Helsingborg is another excellent destination. This coastal city offers restaurants, shopping and several attractions. Nearby Sofiero Palace and its famous gardens are also well worth visiting.
Nature lovers can take a day trip to Söderåsen National Park, one of Skåne's most impressive natural areas. Deep valleys, dense forests, viewpoints and numerous hiking trails make the national park a rewarding destination for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors.
The region also offers activities during the winter months. Vallåsen is located approximately 30 kilometres away and provides opportunities for winter sports. During the warmer seasons, the surrounding area also offers various mountain biking and outdoor activities.
One dog is welcome for an additional fee. Final cleaning is included. Bed linen and towel packages can be booked as an optional extra. Electricity is charged according to actual consumption.
A refundable security deposit of €200 is required for the stay.
