Welcome to Seegut Hovmantorp, an exceptionally spacious lakefront holiday home in Hovmantorp, in the heart of Småland. There are 5 separate bedrooms as well as a connecting room with a sofa bed, providing additional flexible sleeping arrangements. Thanks to the generous layout, even larger groups have plenty of space and opportunities for privacy.
The large living area offers comfortable seating and plenty of room to relax. Especially on cooler days, the open fireplace creates a pleasant atmosphere and an authentic Swedish holiday-home feeling.
For entertainment and longer stays, Wi-Fi with speeds of at least 100 Mbit/s, books and several lounge areas are available. A desk is also provided.
The separate kitchen is extensively equipped for self-catering. Facilities include a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, additional freezer, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. A large dining area provides enough space for the whole group to enjoy meals together.
The house has 2 bathrooms as well as an additional guest toilet. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available, making Seegut Hovmantorp particularly practical for longer stays.
A real highlight is the choice of 2 saunas. One sauna is located inside the house and can be used during your stay. There is also a special sauna directly by the lake, which is available for an additional fee. After a long walk, a swim in the lake or an active day outdoors, it is a wonderful place to relax.
A private fitness room is also available for guests who want to stay active during their holiday.
Seegut Hovmantorp is set on approximately 14,000 m² of grounds, providing an exceptional amount of outdoor space. Garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue invite you to enjoy long summer evenings together.
The lake lies directly beside the property and is one of the house’s major highlights. Here you can swim, fish or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere by the water.
Guests who would like to explore the surroundings from the water have additional options in Hovmantorp. Canoes and rowing boats can be rented at the local campsite, allowing you to discover the surrounding lake landscape independently.
The surrounding area is part of the famous Glasriket, Sweden’s Kingdom of Crystal. Traditional glassworks, design shops and the well-known Kosta Outlet are within easy reach and provide a variety of excursion opportunities.
Restaurants, cafés and shops can also be found directly in Hovmantorp, some of them within easy walking distance. At the same time, forests, lakes, hiking trails and cycling routes begin around the village.
