Last renovated in 2017, the holiday home offers around 80 m² of living space for up to 2 adults and 2 children. Its comfortable, practical furnishings provide a welcoming setting for relaxing days in southern Småland.

One of the highlights is the outdoor area. The covered terrace is a lovely place to enjoy sunny days, share meals outdoors or simply take in the peaceful surroundings. Sun loungers, a hammock, a fire pit and a barbecue are also available on the property – ideal for long Swedish summer evenings.

The landscape around Kalvshult is characterised by forests, lakes and quiet paths. Nearby Lake Örsjön covers approximately 4 km² and has 24 small islands. Several paths lead to the lake, where you can swim, relax on the shore or explore its distinctive island scenery.

Örsjön is also well suited to rowing and boating. However, a boat or stand-up paddleboard is not currently included in the holiday home’s amenities. Guests who bring a suitable watercraft of their own or arrange access to one locally can explore the lake and its small islands from the water.

Örsjön also offers opportunities for fishing. Here you can spend peaceful hours by the water and enjoy Småland’s natural surroundings. Please observe the applicable local fishing regulations.

If you prefer exploring on foot, the region offers plenty of opportunities for walking and hiking. Around Osby, you will find trails of various lengths and levels of difficulty, ranging from gentle walks to longer day hikes through forests and lake landscapes.

The surrounding area also offers appealing routes for motorcyclists and mountain bikers. Small, winding country roads lead through forests and past lakes, while paths and trails invite you to explore by bicycle. Depending on the season, you can also pick berries and mushrooms in the nearby woods.

Osby is an option for a day trip. It is home to the BRIO Lekoseum, an interesting destination for families with children that tells the story of the well-known Swedish toy manufacturer.

In Älmhult, you can visit the IKEA Museum to learn more about the history of the Swedish furniture company. Another popular attraction is Smålandet Moose Safari near Markaryd, where you can see moose up close.

The nearest larger shopping options are in Osby, approximately 17 minutes away by car, and Älmhult, which you can reach in around 25 minutes.

Solkullen i Kalvshult is a non-smoking property. Final cleaning is taken care of, and linen packages containing bed linen and towels can be booked as optional extras. During the winter months, electricity is charged according to actual consumption at €0.30 per kWh.

The holiday home is not suitable for allergy sufferers.
