Dalsland is often referred to as "Sweden's Lake District." With more than 1,000 lakes, dense forests and untouched wilderness, the region is a paradise for hikers, canoeists, anglers and anyone seeking peace and relaxation. Here you can experience Sweden at its most authentic while still being close to many fascinating attractions.

The cosy cottage offers approximately 45 square metres of living space and comfortably accommodates up to four guests. Two bedrooms make it an excellent choice for couples, small families or friends exploring Dalsland together.

The bright living and dining area features a comfortable seating area and a television with German channels, providing the perfect place to relax after a day outdoors. High-speed Wi-Fi keeps you connected throughout your stay, while air conditioning ensures pleasant temperatures during warm summer days. Fly screens on the windows provide additional comfort throughout the season.

The well-equipped kitchen includes everything you need to prepare delicious meals, making self-catering easy and enjoyable.

The bathroom is fitted with a shower. A washing machine is available, and families travelling with young children can also make use of the baby cot and high chair.

The nearest lake is located only 800 metres from the cottage. A canoe is included free of charge, allowing you to explore the beautiful lakes of Dalsland at your own pace. The region is considered one of Sweden's finest canoeing destinations, offering countless lakes, small islands and quiet bays waiting to be discovered.

The area around Bengtsfors offers a wide variety of attractions. One of the highlights is the famous Dalsland Canal, one of Sweden's most scenic waterways with historic locks and picturesque boat trips. Another must-see attraction is the remarkable Håverud Aqueduct, where boats cross a steel aqueduct suspended high above the river below. Nature lovers will enjoy the many hiking trails, panoramic viewpoints and canoe routes throughout the region. The charming town of Bengtsfors, with its cafés, restaurants and local shops, is also within easy reach.

Stuga Haget is a non-smoking holiday home. One dog is welcome for an additional fee. Final cleaning is included. Bed linen and towels can be booked as an optional package. Electricity is charged according to actual consumption. A €200 security deposit is required.
